The Position and Attributes of Teacher from the Perspective of Islam

Abstract


This research has been done to clarify the status of the teacher and his responsibilities in Islam and to clarify the characteristics of a successful teacher in light of Islamic education and to determine the main objectives of the role of the Muslim teacher, which shows the general purpose of this article. The method of this article is a library, authentic books have been used to complete the content of this article. The study concluded that it is not difficult to have an Islamic perspective on the role of the teacher, but we must employ efforts and capabilities towards the desired goal, and that preparing a teacher for his role is no longer a matter based on guesswork, conjecture, imitation and subordination, but rather requires preparation, equipment and development of the teacher's knowledge, skills, behavior and attitudes based on scientific methodology. The role of the Muslim teacher to be a good example in his words and actions, and to succeed in his educational and teaching work assigned to him in the best possible way, and to feel responsible before God Almighty and before society, because this will return with the beneficial benefit to form a Muslim individual capable of facing the challenges of this era and building his Muslim society and free it from impurities and widespread seditions.
