https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5502
<p>The business activities conducted by a business entity demand innovation to have market value, added value, and differentiation from its competitors. One form of innovation is through mergers, which is related to cross-border business activities, involving regulations in the country where the business entity operates. This research aims to compare merger regulations from the perspective of competition law in Indonesia and Malaysia. An example of a business entity involved in a <em>merger</em> is Grab and Uber. To address this issue, the research employs a normative juridical research method. The findings conclude that merger regulations in Indonesia are stipulated in the Company Law, alongside the Competition Law and Government Regulation No. 57 of 2010 regarding mergers, acquisitions, and consolidations. In contrast, Malaysia does not yet have specific regulations concerning mergers in competition law, making the merger between Grab and Uber a non-issue in Malaysia.</p>Weno PratamaParamita Prananingtyas

https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5501
<p>This study aims to understand, reveal, and challenge social inequalities through the analysis of language and power dynamics in the workplace. Using qualitative approach, this study focuses on the interactions between supervisors and staffs. The data were collected by voice recording the interaction process, and were then transcribed into text. The data analysis process involved three main steps: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The transcribed text was analyzed using Dell Hymes' Speaking Theory, which helped categorize the various components of the interaction. This study reveals a formal and professional setting characterized by respectful language and hierarchical relationships. The conversation revolves around professional tasks and responsibilities such as attending meetings, delivering letters, and organizing participants for a futsal event. This study also highlights the structured hierarchy in the communication and the respect given to those in authority. The conversation's content is classified as a combination of task-oriented and problem-solving discourse. It underscores the importance of recognizing and comprehending power dynamics to encourage more equitable and effective communication and collaboration in the workplace.</p><div id="gtx-trans" style="position: absolute; left: -13px; top: 216px;"> </div>Baiq Jihan Olvy WanasatyaLalu Muhaimi

https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5497
<p>Child marriage remains a challenging issue in Indonesia to this day. Childhood should be a critical period for physical, emotional and social growth before they enter adulthood. To prevent the occurrence of these cases, especially child marriage, various institutions in Indonesia provide counseling facilities or become a place to consult about family problems. One of these institutions is the Family Learning Center (PUSPAGA) which is under the auspices of the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection and Family Planning (DP3AKB).This study aims to analyze the use of feminist therapy as an effort to prevent child marriage in the community of Bantul Regency, which has experienced a fairly high increase every year. This research method is qualitative with data collection through interviews. The results and discussion of this research are analyzed by the researcher and presented as follows:1. Based on the understanding of the concept of gender by the counselor, Gender is considered as a social formation that regulates the roles and interactions between men and women through the socialization process, establishing roles, rights, obligations, and responsibilities in the context of production and reproduction. 2. Feminist Therapy in Child Marriage Prevention, Counselors who have a gender orientation and use a counseling approach create feminist counseling, an approach that emphasizes the importance of equality and efforts to achieve it.</p>Kamalatan NihayaAgus Basuki

https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5655
<p>Teaching the knowledge of making nuclear weapons from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence is the main issue of this research, the main question of the research is "What is the view of Islamic jurisprudence about teaching the knowledge of making nuclear weapons?" This research, Baroosh Ijtihadi, argumentative and analytical, has given an answer to this question based on which it can be said that from the perspective of Islamic jurisprudence, teaching the knowledge of making nuclear weapons that leads to the production and use of weapons of mass destruction is forbidden according to the first ruling, but if it causes defensive deterrence. And there is nothing wrong with confronting or repelling the use of nuclear weapons by the enemy. However, at the time of the presence of Masoomin (peace be upon her), there was no trace of the knowledge of making nuclear weapons to express its verdict. However, in the article, the author considered its ruling to be usable from the point of view of Islamic jurisprudence based on some Sharia proofs. </p>Saeed TaleghaniMohammad Javad NowroziSeyed Sajjad Izadehi

https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5535
This study investigates the differences between students who regularly cycle or walk when going to and from school and students who do not cycle or walk on body mass index and aerobic capacity. This comparative research involved 20 male students who were obtained using quota sampling techniques and divided into two groups. The first group consists of 10 students who have the habit of going to and from school by bicycle or walking (BW group). In comparison, the second group consists of ten students who do not have the habit of going to and from school by bicycle or walking (including being dropped off/picked up by their parents) (Non-BW group). The research instruments used were weight scales, height measuring instruments, and a 20-meter pacer test. The data analysis technique used is the independent sample t-test. Results of differences between the BW group vs. Non-BW group revealed that there was a significant difference in mean values in the aerobic capacity variable (29.1 ± 2,883 vs. 26.39 ± 2,822 ml/kg/min, p<0.005), while in the body mass index variable there was no significant difference (21,089 ± 3.702 vs. 22.216 ± 4.968 kg/m2, p>0.005). This research concludes that students in the BW group show better aerobic capacity than Non-BW group students. However, the body mass index showed no significant differences between the two groups.Oce WiriawanHari SetijonoSapto WibowoArifah KaharinaMuhammad Labib Siena Ar RasyidHizbin Nisa' Karimah

https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5528
<p>The regional closeness of Persian Gulf countries faced a threat due to Qatar's foreign policy approach. Despite having the lowest military expenditure among Gulf countries, Qatar diverged from Saudi Arabia's policy of fostering stability in the Persian Gulf region to distance itself from groups deemed a threat to the domestic politics of other Gulf nations. Qatar's pursuit of greater democratic freedoms and a more moderate approach to international relations prompted Saudi Arabia and other Gulf nations to impose a diplomatic blockade in 2017. Despite this, Qatar's flexible foreign policy helped it avoid a prolonged domestic crisis. Establishing ties with nearby countries like Iran and Turkey and acquiring fighter aircraft from France and the United States garnered international support beyond its region. This research will examine Qatar's efforts to navigate the diplomatic crisis using a balance of threat approach—a key concept in Neorealism theory that posits an anarchic international structure requiring countries to navigate the global political stage for survival.</p>Triesanto Romulo Simanjuntak

https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5518
<p>The existence of a three-year presidential discourse through the 5th Amendment Bill to the 1945 Constitution does have advantages and losses, considering the considerable implications of a president who serves three terms. This study has two objectives, namely first to find out how the presidential system reacts to proposed changes, and second, how the debate around the 5th Constitution of 1945 affects changes in presidential mandates in 3 terms. This study is a standard legal research that uses three approaches, namely the legal approach, the historical constitutional approach, and the conceptual approach. There are two conclusions in this study, first, the presidential term of office more than 2 terms can be unconstitutional if it is not on the path of change, but if you want to make changes by extending the presidential term to 3 terms of change principle. may violate the principles of constitutional democracy and the constitutional presidential system. Second, because of the term of office of president.</p>Dian HerlambangRaesitha Zildjianda

https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5515
<p>This research aims to analyze the criminal law implications in resolving disputes related to quartz sand mining in the West Kalimantan Province. The significant ecological impact of quartz sand mining activities creates conflicts concerning permits, land ownership, environmental damage, and the rights of local communities. Criminal law plays a crucial role in upholding justice and addressing potential violations. This paper discusses the role of criminal law in several essential aspects: First, the Role of Criminal Law in Mining Permits, where criminal law can be employed to enforce mining permits, creating obstacles for those intending to violate established permits. Second, Criminal Law Aspects related to Environmental Damage, where violations of environmental regulations can lead to criminal actions with the aim of preventing environmental harm. Third, Conflicts with Local Communities and Landowners, where criminal law protects the rights of local communities and landowners through sanctions imposed by the Law. Fourth, Illegal Mining, where criminal law is used to address illegal mining practices, uphold the principles of justice, and protect the interests of the state and the community. Additionally, dispute resolution also requires more collaborative alternative approaches, such as mediation or arbitration. The criminal law implications in this approach must be understood to ensure that the dispute resolution process continues to be fair and effective. The role of law enforcement agencies and the judicial system is crucial in ensuring that criminal actions are taken in accordance with the principles of justice.</p>Heppy YadiEko Soponyono

<p>Digital trade has resulted in many health products being sold online through marketplaces. According to the facts that have occurred, several vitamin D3 that do not have distribution permits or imitations are sold in the digital marketplace. https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5510
<p>The primary source of misunderstandings arises from learning conditions that disregard students' initial beliefs and varying ideas. This study addressed misconceptions by implementing a problem-based learning model that encourages active student involvement. The courses were carefully designed to offer a more focused approach, allowing students to understand historical concepts better. Action research served as the research methodology to tackle classroom learning issues. Data collection methods included interviews, observations, and documentation. In semi-face-to-face interviews, interviewers posed their inquiries and discussed various subjects. The data were analyzed through organization, segmentation, pattern recognition, selection of relevant information, and drawing of conclusions. Following the Miles and Huberman method, this interactive data analysis process continued until completion. In qualitative research, data analysis typically begins with data collection, followed by data reduction, data presentation, and, ultimately, the derivation of conclusions or verification. The findings revealed that students harbored misconceptions about historical information they had not fully comprehended. While several factors contributed to this, it became evident that the core issue identified through problem-based learning was students' inadequate grasp of the fundamental concepts. This became apparent when students encountered difficulties recalling information when asked questions. Problem-based learning typically consists of five crucial stages, starting with the teacher introducing a challenging scenario to students and concluding with the presentation and analysis of student work.</p>Meike ImbarDarmawan Edi Winoto

https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5558
<div class="WordSection1"><p>The school committee is one of the organizations that become partners in supporting school programs. The existence of a school committee is very important, especially in public schools. For state schools, the implementation of school programs requires a third party as a supporting system, especially in terms of funding. Even though state schools receive grants from the government, the implementation of school programs is not comparable when public schools are allowed to collect tuition fees from students' parents. Many school programs are not implemented. A school committee is needed that can support school programs. Therefore, the school committee needs to have good communication in its internal scope to support school programs. The purpose of this study was to analyze the school committee communication patterns in actualizing school programs in public high schools. This study used the descriptive qualitative method. The results showed that the star communication pattern was the most widely used by the school committee in discussing school programs that would be supported by the school committee. The form of communication that is carried out is mostly using WhatsApp media to interact. Communication barriers in realizing school programs are limited funds, still lack care for parents, and parents' mindsets. It can be concluded that all communication patterns can be used by the school committee depending on the situation and conditions. This study recommends the same research on the communication patterns of school committees other than in public schools<em>.</em></p></div>Dwi UntariTri Wahyu Retno Ningsih

2024-03-072024-03-0711315817210.18415/ijmmu.v11i3.5558A Discourse Analysis on Workplace with Hymes 'Speaking Model' Between Owner and Staff In Puri Itoma Corporate kuta Lombok: A study on Ethnography of communication
https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5551
Ethnography in general is communication in society. Ethnography of communication combines ethnography, description and structural and functional analysis of society and culture, and linguistics of cultural behavior that guides and helps share knowledge, art, morals, beliefs, and everything that people acquire as members of society. Communication Ethnography is an approach to understanding society and culture and reconstructing this ethnic group, especially society in general. Discourse is also very often used in communication in society, at work, offices, schools and public places, both formally and informally. Discourse in English is called discourse and is defined as expression in communicative interaction. Speech events are based on eight speech components. Hymes summarizes these components with the acronym SPEAKING. Ethnography of communication in this discussion refers to the use of language in certain community groups. A smile means, for example, eight components of speech: (1) Setting and scene, (2) Participants, (3) Ending, (4) Sequential action, (5) Key, (6) Instrument, (7) Interaction norms, and (8) Flow. This study shows that the main focus of workplace research is a professional workplace and the ability to express oneself calmly at work. However, as stated in this review article, there are several interesting studies regarding the topic of communication in workplace briefings, for example using relaxed language but still targeting different jobs and power or positions, different nationalities, even different cultures. but still respectful. with each other between the owner and sales marketing staff, as in the discussion above. Another potential growth area is the study of multilingual conversation patterns in the workplace and communication norms at press conferences. Recent research in this area explores the importance of ideology and effectiveness in multilingual communication in the workplace. The research clearly shows the importance of communication ethnography, namely the dense interaction of participants. High network density is essential. This research describes communication competence. each participant is considered to have expressed his opinion. All statements from the meeting created strong communication between the three members. At the same time, it can be assumed that the participants are owners and sellers who have long established close relations, even quite proper, relaxed, clear and concise cooperation. So, their level of cognition deserves thumbs up. Another important thing is to create clear communication in the office space. Another achievement is that Participant 2 is a sales marketer from Germany who is able to adapt to the work environment and belongs to a lower caste. But it shows the same thing as the relevant statement. However, external participants, despite coming from upper caste strata, gave conflicting statements. https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5516
<p>Pretrial aims to monitor coercive measures carried out by investigators or public prosecutors against suspects, so that these actions are actually carried out in accordance with the provisions of the law, and are truly proportional to the provisions of the law and do not constitute acts that are contrary to the law. The purpose of this research is to describe pretrial legal efforts to achieve justice for underprivileged suspects/families. To analyze pretrials in accordance with the Pancasila legal state perspective. The method used is descriptive, with data sources obtained from journals, books and related articles. The result of this research is Article 22 paragraph (1) of Law No. 18 of 2003 concerning Advocates which states that "Advocates are obliged to provide free legal assistance to justice seekers who cannot afford it." These rules require a lawyer to provide equal access to justice for everyone. This is a form of embodiment of the principle of equality before the law adhered to by Indonesia. In fact, the concept of a legal state for Indonesia is based on the Pancasila ideology, the substance of which includes, among other things, the principle of recognition of God's law, natural law and ethical law. The elements of the Pancasila state are the recognition of guarantees of human and citizen rights; There is a division of power; in carrying out its duties, the government must always be based on applicable laws, both written and unwritten; There is a judiciary that exercises its power independently.</p>Alifvio Bramandika Karindra

It states that the curriculum should include a plan for events, an Information blog, methodological recommendations for achieving training results. The teacher in these conditions performs the tasks of supervising, advising, coordinating activities on the assimilation of information. Thanks to the module, students master the content, understand what information and for what purpose it is being discussed, what it “accepts” and realize that it is necessary for niama. Systematization of educational information within the framework of the module requires the separation and determination of the evolutionary of forms and types of joint activities of educators and educators. </p>Ongarov M.B.

https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5665
<p>The article analyzes the transformational processes under the influence of universal democratic values (human rights and freedoms, pluralism, justice, democracy, democratic political governance) in the political mentality of ethnic Uzbeks, who make up the majority of the population, on the example of Uzbekistan, one of the post–communist young independent states of Central Asia. Adoption of democratic laws is not enough for the political transformation of society. The democratic political transformation in the spiritual life of the society cannot be achieved without changing the communist values that have been forcefully instilled in the human mind by the communist political regime for 70 years, without completely removing them from the life of the person and the society. Today, the post–Soviet Uzbek society is undergoing a complex and difficult process of spiritual transformation. </p>Anvar Kadyrov

https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5531
The independent curriculum is a new breakthrough from the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia that aims to empower education units and teachers in developing students' potential, including 21st century skills (Kemdikbud, 2021). So that we can also formulate the objectives in this study to determine the level of teacher understanding of the concepts and policies of the independent curriculum in their respective schools and the extent to which teachers apply reflection in evaluating planning, processes, and learning outcomes based on the independent curriculum. The benefits of this study, the researcher hopes to provide a comprehensive picture of the extent to which teachers have implemented reflection and a critical approach in implementing the independent curriculum and then identify the obstacles, constraints, and real needs of teachers related to reflective practice in the independent curriculum. The interview results indicate that there are still variations in the level of teachers' understanding of the Merdeka Curriculum concept. Teacher A explained that he had broadly understood that Merdeka Curriculum aims to empower teachers to develop students' potential through the application of 21st century skills and independence values. However, how to translate it into concrete learning activities is still confusing. Meanwhile, Teachers B and C even stated that the socialization provided had not provided adequate understanding, it was still theoretical and difficult to apply. Teachers' understanding of the concept of Merdeka Curriculum is still limited and partial. Most teachers only understand in outline, but have difficulty applying it concretely in learning.Makmur HadiPendi RosadiYuni Budi Lestari

https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5576
The theory of the cycle of money without escaping savings is about the distribution of money and the ideal case that there are not any non-return savings. Then, mentioned the importance of the appropriate tax policy. Therefore, this work has determined that the tax policies are in connection with the savings of the companies of controlled and uncontrolled transactions. The appropriate tax policy should apply higher taxes to companies that substitute the economic activities of smaller companies. These companies destroy the structure and the functionality of the economy because the reuse and distribution of money declined. These companies are companies that sell more than one product or service substituting multiple smaller companies. The current analysis has applied the Q.E. method and its econometric approach.Constantinos Challoumis

https://ijmmu.com/index.php/ijmmu/article/view/5629
The development of national criminal procedural law is based on the philosophy/view of life of the nation and the foundations of the state (Pancasila) which animates every article or paragraph and reflects the protection of human rights and the obligations of citizens. The rationale for amending Law Number 8 of 1981 concerning Criminal Procedure Law is to add the presence of a Judge Commissioner as an effort to protect the human rights of defendants, both in the investigation and prosecution process. Protection of human rights for suspects/defendants is an obligation that must be given to them by the state from all forms of oppression. This article raises the issue of what drives the construction of judge commissioners in the reform of just procedural law in Indonesia. So far, procedural law has raised many doubts about its ability to protect the rights of suspects. The Construction Judge Commissioner has the authority at the preliminary examination stage to supervise the implementation of coercive measures (dwang middelen), act executively to participate in leading the implementation of coercive measures, determine which investigator will carry out the investigation if a dispute occurs between the police and the prosecutor, and make decisions on objections - objections submitted by parties subject to action based on Pancasila law.Dwi NurahmanMaroni MaroniAhmad Irzal Fardiansyah
