The Survey Effectiveness of Counseling based on Storytelling on Emotional Intelligence in Preschool Children

The aim of this study was the survey effectiveness of counseling based on storytelling on emotional intelligence in preschool children. The statistical population of this study was all preschool children aged 6 to 5 years in preschools in Isfahan city at 2019 year. From this community, 30 of them were divided into two experimental and control groups. In this research was used from emotional intelligence scale that made by researches. Data were analyzed using SPSS_24 statistical software and descriptive and inferential statistics. The results showed that there was a significant difference between the means of the experimental and control groups in the post-test. Therefore, it can be concluded that counseling based on storytelling increases emotional intelligence in preschool children.
