Abstract

The Child-Friendly Schools (SRA) Program is a strategic government initiative designed to create a safe, inclusive educational ecosystem that protects students from all forms of violence. This study aims to holistically evaluate the implementation of the SRA Program at the public junior high school (SMP) level in East Lombok Regency using the CIPP (Child-Friendly Schools) evaluation model. Context, Input, Process, Product). The research applied in this study is evaluative, supported by a qualitative approach. The informants in this study were six public junior high schools: SMPN 1 Selong, SMPN 3 Selong, SMPN 1 Sakra, SMPN 2 Masbagik, SMPN 3 Sambelia, and SMPN 5 Jerowaru. The procedure in this study is divided into four main stages: the pre-field stage, the fieldwork stage, the data analysis stage, and the report writing stage. The data collection methods used are documentation, observation, and interviews. The data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. Testing the validity of the data involves four criteria: data credibility, data transferability, data dependability, and data confirmability. The study's results reveal several important findings across each evaluation dimension. First, in the context evaluation (Context), the implementation of SRA is highly relevant to the needs of the school environment to reduce violence and bullying, but the commitment to formulating written policies in each school is not yet fully realised. Second, in the evaluation of input (Input), significant disparities were found in human resource readiness, very limited budget allocation, and a sharp gap in infrastructure facilities between schools in urban and rural areas. Third, at the process evaluation stage (Process), the principal's intensive supervisory function has proven effective in reducing violence, even though the transition to implementing positive discipline has not been fully completed, and student involvement remains limited. Fourth, through product evaluation (Product), this program has clearly produced positive impacts in the form of a drastic reduction in bullying cases from 60% to 10% and a reduction in the number of physical punishments from 45% to 3%, accompanied by an increased sense of security among students and growing parental trust.
